OK u 2 stroke guys or gals.... i need some help... i have a 30mm OKO (Keihin) flat slide carb and my freshly ported Wildcard Racing Blaster topend .... i have a 42 pilot and a 150 main needle middle clip..... it starts and idles fine... when i punch the throttle is bogs then revs..... if i have the choke on. it runs fine... am i too lean on both the pilot and main?.... also.. this fall i thought it was dialed in. do you richen or lean out for winter time? thanks ya'll... and Shay. im still working on your banner.

when you say you punch the throttle and it bogs, how much throttle are you giving it?

the pilot controls idle to 1/4, the needle controls 1/4 to 3/4, and the main controls 3/4 to wfo. sounds like its a little lean in whichever part of the throttle range you're in.

if i give it hard throttle it will bog right on the bottom end.... but if i just ease into it then it runs fine.... i tried to do some standing starts and was bogging bad.. rev it up to mid rpm.. then dump clutch and push throttle hard to wide open... BOOOOOGGGGG.... then comes alive.....

soooooo my thought is lower the clip 1 position (Raise the needle) and go up 2 main sizes.. i have a 150 in it so i'll go to a 155?

try that and see if it gets the bog out of the mid range. then do a plug chop.
