geckos are the worst so ive been told. they're the only paddle ive ever tried so i have nothing to compare them to. alot of people at my sand spot use maxxis 4 snow/ pro wedge II's. they seem to do good. the bonus is that they hook up really good in soft pack dirt too. |

| I'm not sure how Geckos perform elsewhere in other conditions but in the Oregon Dunes...Geckos can't climb out of their own way.

| Haulers are popular. The sand here isn't heavy or wet like oregon so that could be why geckos suck. And I've been to coral pink sand was kinda thick but sand stars did just fine. |

| well i tried the pro wedges out last sunday when we went to albany and they are 1000x better than geckos! i got the banshee to stand up with the pro wedges and the +6 swinger. the geckos would spin with the stock swinger lol. i traded the geckos to the bro-in-law for the pro wedges straight up. i thought id have problems turning 22" tall tires but i was surprised at how good they did. i also now have a tire that can hook up in dirt too. if i didnt ride on the road so much, id throw the razr's away lol. |

| Hey volfan, those pro wedges are great in snow as well if you ever find any. That is by far the most preferred tire for the snow trips we take to Diamond Lake. |

| yeah, the 4 snows are basically the same tire. we rarely ever see snow here though. we got snow this past january, about 4". that was the most since about 1992 lol.
i wish we had snow here so i could get a snowmo. those things look like alot of fun!! |

| I've had both. The straight cuts do help hill shooting and you won't slide if your on the throttle hard. But the v cuts are better for carving if you are in tight areas where you can't be pinned. Like aggressive dunes. |
