CR500R Porting

So what can you do for porting on a cr500? I would like to shift the power higher in the rpm range, with a hard mid hit. Right now its like driving a tractor, lol

Its all in what you want...what pipe do you have on it right now? Yeah we could give you a nice tight mid to top power curve. Where do you ride mostly?

I mostly ride the coal mines, I have an FMF Fatty but wouldnt mind trying something different. It had a PC when I got it and the fatty seems better. I did see that cpi makes a drag pipe for it Very Happy

a drag ported cr500 sounds like a handful!! but fun!

I wouldnt mind giving it a try, It is hard to get them to rev real high because the crank is not balanced. I guess it could be balanced but it seems like not to many people are intrested in making it go faster. I also think the stock ignition limits it to 8500 rpms with the peak around 6200. Any build sugestions would be nice.

they are pretty wicked out of the box. But there is always potential to be had. I will get you a couple of things that can be done. I will get you some pricing and some options over to ya give me a day or two.
